To say my son Bennett is obsessed with Maui (from Moana) is an understatement. He loves him so much that we decided to do a Maui themed 2nd Birthday Party back in August. The party was a complete hit and he and everyone had a blast!
I had a newborn at the time of the party and was pregnant while planning the party, i’m not gonna lie, it was a lot of work to even think about planning a party at the time. That is why I decided to get someone to help me. We decided to do Benny’s party at Kid Ventures, which is located near our home in San Diego. It’s a kids play place where kids can run amuck and do as they please. There are party hosts and planners who does everything for you and takes care of the kids. It was amazing.
We even had a mimosa bar which was a huge hit with the adults. The kids had pizza and we also had the party catered by Jersey Mikes. We had fruit and veggie platters, which were all provided by Kid Venture through the party package. It took a lot of stress off me through the whole planning process, I highly recommend going this route if you have a lot going on.
We had to provide all the desserts and the party bags, basically the only thing I had to worry about. We also got the cutest Maui Banner from Etsy and had it customized with Bennys name on it.
It was an amazing party and I am so happy we went through Kid Ventures, I couldn’t have done it without them. I’ve never seen a kid have so much fun at his own Birthday party before. “Your Welcome”!!
